When we built our home, the requirements were we had to insulate the exterior walls to get our occupancy.
Recently we started working on framing the basement for more space!
We have the bedrooms framed out, a bathroom, and a craft space!
We had a electrician come in and start the wiring process!
My husband installed insulation on the ceiling to help with the noise as well as temperature control!
We then installed a plastic barrier for our future ceramic shower!
We hired a fantastic drywall crew to install and finish the drywall!
A week of work and the basement is totally transformed!
Karly is super excited and has decided this is her room! Kora is excited as well, but wasn't dancing in the space!
Fast forwarded to this past weekend my tribe primed the basement! Thanks to my mom and dad, grandma, husband, and two little ladies the basement is now ready for paint! Being pregnant during building this home, and now pregnant while finishing the basement doesn't exactly lean toward the painting process. (Sorry Mom - who has painted my entire house!)
We anticipated a 5 gallon primer and sealer would be pretty close to enough paint - umm no we had to make a second trip to Menards to buy another 5 gallons! It barely made it but 10 gallons later we are sealed and primed and ready to Paint!
Now onto to paint selections!
